Binômes

[FRA]

A rest area on the highway. Do you know something that's closer to a pledge of eternal love? We're there, driving the car and we want to take a piss, we're thirsty, hungry, we want to have a break, release our attention, unfold from the seat, breathe some air … So we decide to stop at the next rest area. And we know she won't betray us. She'll be there and she'll give us what we expect, these little things that will make us feel better for a while. We know we can trust here blindly, she'll be right where she said she'd be, she'll provide hospitality, warm or cool air, and she'll let us leave in peace, whenever we decide to leave. The rest area and the traveller are like the perfect couple forever. They exist individually without the other, yet they're meant to meet and they know what's gonna happen. Therefore, a rest area on the highway is a temple of things that go by two. A rest area on the highway is petrolicious and poetic. The kind of place you like to stop at in order to keep going better. Beautiful rest area, I love you.
